Design and Implementation of an Unreal Engine 4-Based Smart Traffic Control System for Smart City Applications

Traffic congestion is a serious problem nowadays, especially in Dhaka city. With the increasing population and automation, it has become one of most critical issues our country. There can be lot causes traffic, such as insufficient capacity, large red signal delay, unrestrained demand, etc, which extra time fuel consump-tion, speed reduction vehicle, financial loss. The traffic control system important factors affecting flow. Poor management around these hotspots could result prolonged jams. Small locations that are frequent for common byproduct poorly constructed road networks many developing countries. In this research, we first offer straightforward automated image processing method analyzing CCTV camera feeds to determine level congestion. Our system’s design seeks use real-time photos from cams at intersections calculate density using processing, adjust on data obtained based current road. We suggest tailoring erratic with poor visual quality. Using live Surveillance multiple signals city, demonstrate evidence bottleneck breakdown tendency persisting over frames across locations. To partially address problem, local adapting algorithm coordinates timing behavior restricted area locally minimize collapse by maintaining time-variant surges. simulation-based research basic network topologies, show how decongestion protocol may boost capacity avoid limited scenarios.
